About these cars. Sorry been a Chevy guy all my life. But mom and brother both had cudas.
So I'd like honest opinion.
If I'm building a 65 cuda. Which
Hood scoop do you guys think looks the best? I like 6-pk.
My buddy likes hemi???

I looked for a well scaled scoop for my 68 and when I couldn't find one, I did something different. I mounted a medium sized oval aluminum air-cleaner on top of the hood, and boxed the top of the carb to the underside of the hood. I use pleated paper elements in fair weather and an oiled cotton KnN in the rain. Doesn't look all that great either, but lesser of many evils,I thought. The important thing is to give the engine cold, dense, above-the-hood air.

I'm going with the AAR style scoop on my '65. If you like that style, the entire hood is available from VFN Fiberglass in either pin-on (13 pounds, $475) or bolt-on hinged type (23 pounds, $595).

I dont care for the bulbous pimple the previous owner put on the hood.
Im stuck with it and the huge hole below it. I do have another hood, but its a year newer or older. Different latch setup.
 
I personally like this. Not my car but I believe that it is someone here on FABO. can be any color combo that you like, just looks good on the hood.

That's one of my favorite Mopar scoops. We had one that we were going to put on a '67 Dart, but that project left and then the scoop got sold. Six Pack would certainly look better than hemi, in my opinion.
