So just got the email to setup my interview time for next week.

Job would still be for the school district, but would get me off swing shift and on to day shift, and significantly more money.

I’m full time custodian right now, the new job is at the school district headquarters and would be 1/2 custodial and 1/2 administrative. I would love to get this job, hope it goes well on Tuesday.

Good luck!!

Use visualizing techniques about 5 minutes before going into your interview. It helps!

See yourself staying calm and answering the questions just the way the interviewer wants.

I’ll try that.
The thing that always throws me off is that with the school district you usually end up being interviewed by 3 or 4 people all at the same time. I get nervous with just one person.
I know for the custodial side of things they go off a script so it’s the same questions every time, so I got that nailed. Just not sure what they’ll ask on the administrative stuff

You got this!!!

Having done all ends of this here is my 2 cents and take it for what it's worth.....

Show respect and tighten that tie.... It still counts. People know you are serious.
No fidgeting and direct eye contact.
Shut up and listen. Speak when asked and give no more info than needed.
If they ask why you tell em'. Make them think they needed you a year ago.

No need to be nervous. Embrace meeting new people and the challenge of it. As said, you got this easily.

Good luck and report back with good news. Swing shift is a dog and hope you get the job....

Stay focused and you will be fine. Best of luck!

I really hope it works out for you!

Good luck, stay positive! Panel interview is tough, I've done a few. I would rather do a written lol.
Admin questions....maybe budget and staffing, safety training??
Good luck!

One thing everyone forgets is that YOU are interviewing them. Not the other way around.

Walk in incharge, confident and sharp.

The only reason they are even looking at you is they know they want to hire you.

They just want you to give them a reason to not hire you.

Never underestimate your self.

When you walk in that door its already your job. Just dont give them a reason to take it away.
