Howdy all, old cosgig here. As many of you may know, I have been shopping my GTX around in hopes of finding a suitable trade for a 70 Roadrunner. Well, after over a year of patiently looking for the right deal, or any deal at all, one has finally come to fruition. I’ve had many, many offers to purchase the car outright, but I was pretty steadfast that I would eventually find the right car to trade for. It’s a bittersweet feeling to say goodbye to a car that I’ve owned for almost 25 years, but I think I did the right thing. And, after a lifelong love affair with the 70 Roadrunner, I finally have one of my own. I’ll introduce you to my new prize in more detail, but for now I’m just happy to sock it away until I can find the time to play with it. I know it’s not an A body, but I think you all will agree, it deserves it’s new home!

Goodbye old friend, thanks for all the memories!

Congrats on finally finding the right car!

Love me those '70 Roadrunners!

Hoping to land a decent '69 soon.

I sold my 68 Road Runner that I bought new, in 1974, for traveling money to come to Ca. The guy I sold it to rear ended somebody with it.
I thought it had gotten totaled, but talked to him about a year ago and he had sold it to someone. Maybe it's still around. That was a fun
car, B5 blue, black Satellite interior and black vinyl top. Hardtop with 383, 4 spd. Be nice to have it today.

My favorite all time car.

I had a 440 6bbl second hand. Met the guy in Navy ET-A school at Treasure Island, he was in B school. We have stayed in touch in some way since. I had not seen him since about 76 or so, and this last summer he came up here to buy an new Dodge/ Cummins, so we got to meet for lunch.

I WISH I had that car, I cannot afford a B
This faded old photo taken about 73--74. Had a 340 swapped in by now

The car when nearly new, George and I had been to Lions, Long Beach

Mighty handsome Del, and the car too!!

Congrats Geof, I was on pins and needles when I heard about this, I know everyone knows how rare this complete 70 roadrunner is and the value , these roadrunners need a good home and this one found one

I’m just going clean this car up, get it roadworthy again, and drive it just like it is. I don’t know if, or how, I’ll even bring myself to fix the rust issues it has, I want to leave as much of the original paint intact as possible. So many little things on this car are like a time capsule, and the little details that aren’t being reproduced would be impossible to recreate. I’m really looking forward to working on this car, but I have a few things on my plate that are going to delay my efforts.

I agree 100 percent, let me say have a good jam tonight at the dinner, hugs all around :)

Congtrats on your trade. Hard to do a trade that both parties like.
I have had bout every Mopar made in the 60-70's, I still have a big soft spot for the 69 RR or Bee. my fav. So hard now days to find a decent project or half done cars are so expensive!
Looks like your scored well my friend!

Dont call it a "six pack" among the B body crowd.
Its not a dodge lol.

Did someone rob the air grabber years ago?
What does your fender tag say? Non air grabber cars should have the base plate with a shield in n the front, that looks like an air grabber base plate so I bet someone robbed the hood and replaced it with a regular bulge hood.

I think it should also have the dust trail on the side being that it has the decor package (stripe on the deck lid)

Absolutely cool and exciting car.

The air cleaner is correct for the hood and O.K. 6bbl are you happy!
I'm happy he got the car, he is the man!

It could have came with one or the other stripes or both....

Congrats on making the deal. That is an amazing feeling when you finalize a deal you been patiently dreaming about! Looks like you found a really nice care 440x6 blue with dog dish my favorite combo!
Those are probably my top 2 b bodies in the same picture Haha Idk a 64 fury is high on my list. But 67 Gtx and 70 rr have always been favorites of mine
