Today I got up and "Bullit" couldn't walk at all. My son took him to the vet and they have to euthanize him. You can see it bothers Steve. It also bothers me alot. This is three Dogs in 3 months. Two Labs and a Coon Hound. All in their teens.

We bought two puppys because we new the old guys didn't have long. But never did we think all at once

"Bullit" traveled the states with us racing. Some of you may know him. He would steal anything that wasn't tied down in the pit area. From the begining to the end he was the loyalist dog we ever had.

He would sit between my son and I traveling across the states. Constantly looking out the front windshield. and bark when ever he saw a deer. Save us a couple times.

Condolences to you and the family. Pups quickly become part of the family, very tough times.

Looks like you guys gave him the best life he could have.

My condolences to you, I originally never wanted dogs, but wife and kids insisted, and I have been converted to a dog lover. We have had three and one has passed. I can relate since it hurts just like the loss of a human loved one, sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss.Lost our Buddy 3 months ago after 16 years. He'll be waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

So sad. Hopefully you'll find comfort in recalling all the years of loyal, unconditional service those pups provided.

Take care,
Pat

Sorry for your loss, it is very hard to deal with. My best wishes

Sorry Steve. It's tough.
We'll see you soon.

My lab is getting up there. Not looking forward to that day.
Sorry for your loss.

Reading the poem "Pawprints Left by you" above really got to me emotionally, it had me thinking back of the pets 4 legged and feathered the wife and I have had over the last 37 years and how much I really missed them. I'm very sorry for your loss of Bullit.

Sorry for your loss Steve. Unconditional love and loyalty. We are lucky as human beings to enjoy these companions.

Awful sorry to see this. We just recently took in a young female cat someone threw out, pregnant and with a badly infected eye. We got her vetted and had to have the eye removed. She has recovered 100% and has become one of our favorites. Very loving and affectionate as if she knows we love her and want her a part of the family. They know. We have 11 now and they are all rescues. They really do become part of the family. When I hear somebody say "it's just a cat" or "It's just a dog" I just want to punch them in the face.
