They said in California outside storage is not covered.

They did say that in the event it was at a show over night that's a risk they are willing to take.

It may be that because my primary residence is in a less than stellar location?

All I know is they dont want my business and they wont be getting it. I'll be looking into other insurance companies.

The key factor is at your house.

If you are traveling that is clear, you are traveling.
If it is at your house, you say "it was just overnight as we were working on it", they hear yea right, it is never in the garage, or it has been out more than over night.
In their eyes there is no way to prove you only had it out overnight, then again they never verify you actually have a garage.

Talked to Lojack today.
It was interesting. They couldn't give me a price? They gonna have someone call me tomorrow...
Also you dont get to install the device. It gets installed by their guy and you dont get to know where its located. That way if you get car jacked you cant tell where its located. Then I asked is it safe to be welding and cutting on the car while I have no idea where the transmitter is? That he couldn't answer. Although in my gutted race car there's realy nowhere they could put it I wouldn't find it and there's no way there removing my aluminum interior.

So what's ball park on what you folks paid for Lojack?

Have you tried Grundy for insurance, they insure drag cars.

Gonna call them next.
Just going through all options.

Yeah honestly will screw you every time...

I do keep my car in the shop and I do keep it out side sometimes. I wont commit insurance fraud tho..
