so a magnum will run on 58 psi with no problems? i thought magnums had to have 50psi

Like I said, it's probably not ideal, but it worked great for me. I also had a ported intake manifold, bigger throttle body, headers, exhaust, modified the crank sensor to advance the timing, etc. The extra fuel was probably needed.

There are some years of magnums that have a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. You can basically run any high pressure EFI pump and the rail should regulate it.
