340 Mopar engine block. Engine code 2780930-340-6. The casting date is 7-9-69. The block has been cleaned, magnafluxed. No cracks. The block is mic'd to 4.070. These blocks are rare and getting really hard to find. Would be great for your Mopar restoration or a restomod. These are awesome engines that make a lot of power. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I can box up on a pallet and deliver to Fastenall for store to store delivery. I will assist any way I can. Item is sold as is. The price is $475.00 No returns, no refunds, no exchanges.

Passenger side of the block down low, right above the oil pan rail.

Can you post a photo of the numbers stamped there please?

The block is mic'd to 4.070 and should have sleeves ?
What do you mean ? the block is sleeved ? how many ?

SLEEVES?? Do you mean there are problems inside the cylinders, or you believe the bore to be already so big that sleeves will be needed?

My interpretation of his add is as follows. He wants 600 bucks for a block that he says needs sleeves. I take that to mean EIGHT SLEEVES. A 600 dollar block that needs EIGHT SLEEVES. So that's a 600 dollar block that needs 1500 bucks worth of repair.

I had the wrong information on the bore size of a stock 340. If the stock 340 bore size is 4.040, then my block has been bored to 0.030 over (@ 4.070). This block does not have sleeves and does not need to be sleeved. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you for your help

I had the wrong information on the standard bore size of the 340. This block has been bored to 0.030 over (@ 4.070). This block does not need any sleeves. Thanks for your comments

No, there is no problem in the cylinders. I had the wrong standard size for the stock 340. This block was bored to 0.030 over (@ 4.070) and not require any sleeves. Thanks

In the 1st picture I don't see any #'s in the front of the block but it's not a good picture.

Better pictures would be nice.

I was wondering when you can ship. I tried to message you private. No response.
