I think they go towards the front of the car, is this correct? I put my spindles on today and think I have them backwards. Caught the error but now im second guessing myself.

Page 5-36 in FSM shows caliper on front side of spindle.

Lots of us put them to the rear. This allows for more clearance for anti-roll bar. You must have the bleeders towards the top and if you rear mount them, factory hoses won't work. I've forgotten, Volare hoses? And I think someone came up with a GM hose that works

The clearance issues come from running the 73+ disks on a 67-72 car with the 67-72 K and sway bar. It’s only an issue using the later brakes with the earlier style sway bar. On a 73+ car with a 73+ K and sway bar there’s no issue running them mounted to the front, that’s the way the factory did it.

I guess that is true but what I'm getting at is there are really no issues mounting them to the rear, other than they don't "match" the shop manual and the factory hoses don't fit. Also, I don't know they might be an issue with aftermarket oversized anti roll bars. I thought 'some day' so that is why I did mine to the rear

My car is all 73 K frame, sway bar, brakes, etc. I will swap them around so they are correct.
