I have always liked his style, and lately have been doing several of my own in that style.

I just thought I would share...

Yeah it's cool. That chick needs bigger boobs, though.

Well, I guess there just aren’t that many fans of this kind of art. That’s OK, it’s not everyone’s cup of meat.

Anyway, I did this one today. Nothing political about it, just the feelings of freedom and liberty...

I like it. I think it's awesome.
Thanks! I have spent considerable time trying to master this style. It’s more complicated to get right than it first appears.

Peter Max was a genius with mixing color and form to achieve emotion. I am just beginning to understand how he did what he did.

Pretty neat! Vivid! Brings back memories of the simpler old days. I myself am a pencil paper artist some color pen or pencil. May post some pics @ some point. Nothing recent but will gather my better ones.

Cool! I would love to see some of your work.

Groovy. Awesome job. I was born in 1968, but admire the artwork and stuff from that era. Wife always says if we were in our late teens in that era i would have likely been in Vietnam, and she woulda been in a commune.

Dude! That is awsome! I love it!

You have a true gift sir.

Jason drew this out of the blue in art class in jr high. Lol.

Titled people are strange. He’s our little beatnik. Lol.

Nice! He has a great talent that he should continue to explore and nurture. I first broke out of my artistic shell around his age and a few good mentors helped me out tremendously.

Every word of encouragement at that stage is like gold.

@prorac1 Jason’s artwork inspired me to try to put it into the graphic style. He has a great sense of composition. Here’s what I came up with.

My 14 year old daughter decided to create a painting in the Peter max style tonight. This is what she created.

A while later, she asked me what I would do with the painting she created if I used it as an image for my digital art.

Hmmm...well something happy, fun and colorful that makes you smile when looking at it.

She said “Go!” :)

I laughed and an hour later had this to show her. She was grinning from ear to ear when she saw it.

And...just because I was on a roll after doing Jason’s piece...

Nice. I love it. I love your daughters piece as well.

I’m really digging this art thread.

That’s the cool part about our hobby.

I’ve explained to Jason that art takes on many forms.

There’s more to building a car than bolting restored pieces together.

The way colors, textures, and materials fit together to create a finished product often amazes me.

Thanks again. Eric

Well said! I also find the design and styling of these old cars also works well within these Peter Max style images. Here are a few examples I have done recently.

Would you be interested in doing model, year and color specific art based around old Mopars? I'd love to have something like that with my car in it!

Dude those are absolutely amazing! I'm not a huge art guy but that stuff is amazing.
