Want to use a nice 67 cuda dash in a 70 dart. It has full wiring harness. But I have nothing for under the hood. Do I use a 67 to 69 engine harness and body harness to match the dash or can I keep all the 70 wiring under the hood and to the back of the car?

You can use the Dart wiring harness. You can even use the Dart’s under dash wiring, even if the Dart has a non-rallye dash. Some of the wires need to be traded around in the plug for the gauge cluster, but it’s pretty easy. Most of the wire colors are the same or similar, just some of the positions in the plug changed.

I used my ‘74 Duster’s original harness when I converted it over to a rallye dash. Mostly just moving wires around in the plug, although that conversion does need an extra 3 wire plug added in.

I would lean towards post 3^^ I would NOT mix engine bay and under dash harnesses from differing years. Almost every year has some changes. You will have to re--work the connectors/ wiring going to the cluster. What are you doing about the ignition switch? Keeping the column lock switch?

Yeah I’d rather rework the connectors at the gauge cluster plug than at the firewall plug.

On mine I left the column ignition, but I didn’t use the early dash panel either, just the gauge cluster.

Here's the key I made up to swap my connectors in the rally dash gauge connector. The housing I used was a 68 or 69, not sure which. This key would work for a '74, a '70 would be different. But you get the idea anyway

I would get schematics fo r both and compare. You should make a hybrid drawing for the car anyway.
Good luck.

Modify the 70 OEM under dash harness to power rally inst' panel is smarter/simpler than modifying a 67 under dash harness to work in a 70 model car. Compare to changing a factory radio to modern stereo. We don't rewire entire under dash in that.
The 67 model build, rally or not, had so many differences, horn relay location, reverse lamp switch location, no marker lamps, etc..., etc...
The way I read your first post, you bought a 67 rally dash complete with wire a harness that you do not need any part of.
Yes the rally panel does have a 2nd circuit board with 3 contact pins. You will have 2 of those wires and need to add a branch to your orange wire for it.
As for that little connector that your standard harness does not have... this connection is too close to the top of the rally inst' panel anyway. Solder 3 wires to that board, Go to town and buy a basic 4 wire trailer connector. Place this connector set inline, male side to circuit board, female side the cars harness. You could use the 4th wire of trailer connector to add a inst' panel ground wire and anchor the soldered on "pig tail" too. Better than the original? YEP

^^On my 67 the original cluster had several pins broken. Rather than try and fix them, I ended up soldering pigtail leads to the various board traces and using Molex connectors from there to the harness. it matters not what you use for a connector, usefulness and availability, unless you are trying to be "correct." In this case, LMAO, "correctness" is sorta out the window

Two more differences to deal with. 67 rally panel has a switch hole with [ FLASHER ] marque. The 70 model has flasher switch in steering column. To make the flasher switch feature of 67 inst' bezel go away.... shave it to flat and cover with 70/71 wood grain or other. Kits from Detroit Muscle Technologies make it easy.
The 70 model climate controller will not work with 67 inst' housing. Bolt holes in different places, angle and length of sliding levers different too. The 67 model climate controller will work with 70 heater case though. So there are ways to conquer these and any other differences.
