1974 Scamp some assembly required

That looks great! Nice work! Keep it up.
Thanks buddy. Silly me I thought I would get the radiator supports and both inner fenders done this weekend. Yeesh. Would have gotten farther along but a PO hacked out half the firewall to inner fender supports, when they removed the inner fenders. Spent a lot of time stitching those back in.

No doubt about it-I'll be doing some of that eventually...not with fenders, but quarters and trunk floors

Left side ready to weld.

Looking good man! That is awesome. Progress is really moving forward now!! I'm not sure if you have posted before but what are your engine plans?

Thanks! I'm having fun. Engine plans recently changed when I found a deal I couldn't pass. See post 111.
But here it is. Van motor home 360 and 727.

I love the earlier rear 70-73 ... I can live with my front but dang it... I want an *** job !!!!
It's funny how opinions differ. Because I absolutely love your car and how that rear end looks. I like 74 and 75 dart taillights
If I could build my ideal car it would have a 74 75 rear with a 71 grille imo.

Oh yes that's right I remember seeing this post! That is awesome. I'm building 360 also. But I'm starting from scratch lol I'm getting ready to take the block to the machinist I'm working on porting my heads now.

Yessir I'm following your build. Looking good over there.

Yep I was gonna build a motor, but I saw this on CL (I need to stay off there). I got impatient, want to get this thing up and running. Will get more indepth with an engine build later. Pipe dream is 89-91 roller 408.

I'm actually considering something I really don't want to do but may not have much choice because of financial reasons..... painting my engine bay black. Smh

I did mine in black, but I also painted the car black. I would think that you could find something in a spray can or get a quart of paint the body color your wanting and not cost to much. If you can paint it yourself.

Your brave, lol. It's your car, do whatever you want. You'll catch hell, but f-em, haha.

You absolutely can...there are hundreds of places that can mix custom aerosol paints for you in factory color codes-even in little old Abilene, Texas we have them. It’s probably not show winning paint, but if all you need is some touch up or area repair, it’s a nice option.
