1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

Vintage Japanese cars commonly used fender mirrors. Which is the single reason why I would never mount them on the fenders.

The logic was so that you could see another car or bike that was near to your quarter panel. It was a time when very slow moving crowded traffic was a thing. It wasn't intended to give you the panoramic view that some modern mirrors give.

The Japanese had a law that you had to see the mirrors through the windshield, which is why they were mounted at the end of the fenders.
