Getting ready to replace front calipers, rotors & pads on my 03 Dakota. Have never dealt with bleeding brakes on a modern setup.
My question is should i disable the abs by disconnecting battery before i bleed the brakes or not.

just bleed brakes as you would on car that don't have ABS.
 
If you disconnect the battery, I think the computer will lose all it's bandaid short-term fuel and timing trims, and she will run like crap until you put a few run cycles on her;while the computer relearns . Plus your radio presets will be lost.
