Here you go,I put a straight edge along the upper rail to show the gaps.Between the injector bosses and cover rails, I figure about a 1/4" total. Stamped covers would require considerably less. BTW a note on the "fabbed" covers now being sold by some of the bigger names (rebranded china products). I took these off to check the valves to find the welds broke holding the baffle in. the Mr.G set are identical in appearance ,measurement and weld placement. I'll be keeping an eye on them.
