I have a pretty nice fuel cap and some really nice polished tail light lenses:

The inserts for the tail lights that are black instead of silver. They were different formula S vs not.
Hello,
I don't know if you are interested in reproduction route, but Classic Industries has the inner trim for the tail lights. You have to pain the center Argent Silver for non "S" car and as you already know, black for "S" cars. That's the route I'm probably going:
1969 All Makes All Models Parts | MA4736 | 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Tail Lamp Housing Inner Trim | Classic Industries

Or PG Classics has complete kit with the inner trim included, other sites you have to pick pieces to put a complete set together. The only thing I know that is not included is the red plastic caps that protect the mounting studs. Layson's and Year One carries them. Year One is on back order though, I'm waiting on 1 of the 2 packages I ordered:
306-BLKIT Mopar 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Taillight Kit

I hope that helps, I'm putting my "S" rear end parts together now.
Dan

Thanks for the info, not trying to do repop stuff but if i do, this’ll certainly help out.

No problem and I understand on repop stuff (although some are "Mopar authorized" so they have correct part numbers and markings on them). My '69 was stripped when I got it and some of the most important things are pretty hard/expensive to find.
Good luck and have fun with it.

How’s the damage by the hangars? I can see the polish has come off. Thanks.

As to be expected for 25 years of use. Car sat in storage from 88 to 2012 when they were removed. so if you do the math, they are as asked, original. Repops are very close but on most the diameter of the tailpipe connection is larger than the originals.

Yep, that’s expected. Let me decide which diameter of exhaust I’m going with, and get back with you.

In fact on most repops the tail pipe slips inside the tip not over like the originals.
I expect they will be hanging in the garage for a long time!

Inside diameter of the original tip is 1.62, OD is 1-7/8.

Original Tailpipe is 2.25 up over the axle then pieced to 1-7/8 down to the tip. Most repop tailpipes are 2.25 all the way. I may be incorrect with the actual sizes and the police will correct me for sure. The original tailpipes are 2 piece welded though and I still have the original 383 pipes I saved. So you can see the restriction of the originals.

Interesting. Now I have more research to do lol

Why they slipped the tip inside the tail pipe makes no sense to me either and likely the cause of the corrosion to the Stainless tip. Always go inside to out as a progression from front to back yes?
