May he RIP. He was a decent actor. I liked Airwolfe, too. Ernest Borgnine was really good in it as well. He was also good in The Undefeated with John Wayne and Rock Hudson. Everything I have read about the guy though, says he was a drunk and a prick to work with. I do hope he found the peace in death he never seemed to have in life.

Jan Michael Vincent passed away today

Various websites say he actually died back on February 10th from cardiac arrest, but the news is just now getting out.
Another good role for him was as Charles Bronson's protoge hitman in "The Mechanic".
Troubled life - I hope he finally found peace.

It surely was! I had forgotten he was in that and I have it!

One of my first live-action heroes - from when he was Link on "Danger Island" (far right - this ran on The Banana Splits Show)

Didn't he get in an accident around the end of Airwolfe that really jacked him up?

Broke his neck in 96. Had to have one leg amputated. He was in poor health for a lot of years.

Loved Air wolf as a kid. That show started a fascination with rotor wing air craft that still sticks with me to this day.

I had the intro theme song as my ring tone for a long time.
