Back floors pans are the easiest. The reinforcing ribs are what you will be missing. I have done it on 16 ga, but I don't recommend that, too hard to bend and wok. Factory is 18 ga. If you go to sell, some "purist" can ***** if not factory replacement type, but like some movie actor said once, "I don't really care!!"

...and honestly it really doesn't bother me too much. But this car is in such god shape everywhere else, I kinda want to keep with that theme. It has the potential to be really nice. Not that it wouldn't be with plain sheet metal.....it would, but it would lack some detail. Even if I have to do one side at a time, I think that's how I want to go. It will be less labor and that's what "this old boy" is all about. LOL
