6.1 Hemi into 72 Demon March 2018

So I have clearly been negligent in my postings. Quite a bit of progress on the Demon and then again several steps backwards. With regard to progress I now have the tunnel mitered and pretty well rough tacked in. See attached picture. I am utilizing the booster and pedals from the Donor SRT which in turn creates some space issues. I have cut the pedals all off the SRT pedal block so that I can modify them to fit under the Demons dash.
Should any one want to attempt this I strongly suggest you hire a midget yoga instructor that knows how to weld. It was like having sex with an 18 year old. I just am to old to get in those under dash positions anymore. The more I had to butcher the firewall the farther I got from being ready to go to paint. Then I attacked the inner fenders, the Demon was a BB drag car with the typical headers out the fender configuration. I hand fabricated about a dozen pieces to patch said openings as a result of my confidence in my welding ability and my complete and total lack of knowledge on body work.
As I was rushing to meet paint shop appt. deadline I began to cut corners. In what was an ah hah WTF moment it dawned on me I would be forever pissed off every single time I opened the hood if I continued down present path. After several single malts of wisdom I contacted my painter and explained car would not be ready. I then hung my head in defeat and contemplated burning car in place!
Hah! Please note I am a combat Marine and as such there is simply no try, either do or do not. On plus side I made huge progress on car today as a direct result of not having pressure of paint deadline looming over my head. I am having fun again. Note to self; this is a hobby it is supposed to be fun. Let it be so! I have now decided to cut out all frame support progress etc. and remove fenders and replace inner fenders. Go head ask me what I know about inner fenders? Jack Sh**! But there are a multitude of folks on this forum that are genuine and highly skilled in areas I am not. These guys never hesitate to share knowledge with some one. FABO rocks! Pix are attached of latest progress. My apologies that this got so long winded!
