Hello FABO. Got a problem with my 70's duster. It needed upper and lower ball joints in a bad way. I put QA1 upper control arms on it with new lower ball joints from Moog. While I was at it, I put new inner and outer tie rod ends and shocks all the way around. Now I seem to have a leveling problem. The drivers side is much lower than the passenger side....

Never had this issue before, and I am sure it is something simple, what should I look at to help rectify this?

Thanks in advance!

Have you turned in the lower control adjusting screw higher? What dose that do? How dose the rear look like. Is the rear off too?

I'm assuming you are talking about the torsion bar... I have yet to do that, but will try that tomorrow. If I remember correctly, you turn in clock wise to tighten, raise, the front.

As for the rear, yes, it is a little lower on the same side, but I have air shocks on it. Was thinking of lowering it by taking all of the air out and refilling....

Yes tighten will raise the front, by increasing the tension on the bar. Also with air shocks one maybe bad and not raising the car as needed.

Ok, thank you. On a side note, how's Omaha? Graduated from Bellevue East many years ago...

Mine did the same thing after I went to lower the front after aluminum heads, intake radiator and battery relocate. Lowered the driver's side and once I moved to the passenger and applied the same # of turns, that's how it looked. Had to add a few turns back to the driver's side

Jack the car and remove the weight before adjusting the torsion bars.
Both adjusting bolts should stick out of the control arms about the same.

Before you make the FIRST adjustment, how did you tighten all of the upper control arm to frame bolts? If you tightened them without the weight on the car, you could have the suspension in a bind. If you are unsure, you should loosen the upper control arm to frame bolts on the ground and re-tighten them. On the ground.

There is another rookie mistake...One that I myself have made before.
The LCA and UCA bolts DO need to be tightened with the car on its tires .
