I think they changed the style in 1970 I'm concerned if I buy that carb, the choke won't be in the correct position or wont work. Can any tell me otherwise?

My choke is not hooked up. But I did see that my old choke thermostat rod and clip will not work on the new carburetor. My old Holley rod looks too long. I have a thermostat and rod that came off a 1975 360, I will be trying..... The stat and rod on the left are original for the Holley. Stat and rod on the right came off of my ‘75 360, and I will be trying it out today.
