The jeep 318 and 360 used very similar heads as Mopar if not the same. I say that because the 318 and 360 magnum exhaust manifolds (96/97/98) off a Jeep Grand Cherokee will fit perfectly on the exhaust ports of a Mopar head, they are an exact match.
But the Jeep motor has the starter on the passenger's side which makes using the Jeep driver's side exhaust manifold on a Mopar all but impossible. treblig

Rereading your Post, that'd be pretty much what I ran into when inspecting the recently released on NZ market Grand Cherokee at the Chrysler dealership when developing a set of Headers for the RHD V8 model : Quite surprised when a Set of earlier pre-cut 318 header head flanges pretty much lined up off the bat - think the manifolds were Chinese assembly plant ones std.
Interesting what people notice in passing.
IF anyone wants some nice Jeep 4.0 TJ or XJ 90's I6 headers when they crack I can ship Stateside NEW NZ made ones ( Full Longgg small tube Try-Y's ) Your $ exch rate works in your favor.
