I've been looking for a nice Sun super tach for awhile now. I was sad to find that sunpro sold out to Bosch and could no longer get the sun retro tach with the sun name. I got lucky and found one today at the KYANA swap meet in Louisville new in the box.:thumbsup:

Sweet...The new Bosch ones look the same, but say Bosch on them.
No thanks.
 
All Bosch is now is rebranded Actron. POS.

That's a nice lookin tach, Mitch. I remember when you could buy those new in the mom and pop auto parts stores for 14.95.

It sure would be nice to have those good old prices again. I remember trading my cousin a rattle snake hide for a sun super tach II back around 1980. I had to pay $240.00 for this one.:lol:
 
I liked the beer toting maniquin some guy had set up at the swap meet, my wife got a kick out of it too.:lol:

Yes they are commanding some high prices these days. Who'da thunk it?
 
Very nice score!!! What did you spend if you don’t mind. Spent $100 on mine. The housing needs work but the tach itself was perfect.
