Any one got their hood up?

Can someone get me the max height of an air cleaner off the block of an LA motor in a early A? Measure from the flat top of the block to the air cleaner nut: intake, carb and cleaner added up. Seeing what the tallest one out there is that fits under the stock hood. Also note what motor mount insulators your running: early Bricks or later "Ice cream sandwich" thin style. Thanks!

Not sure if this helps... I run a .700 spacer to raise up my stock Commando air cleaner and to the top of the wing nut from the rail (where the distributor bolts to) is 12.500 inch... Brick motor mounts. And I can shut hood with clearance... (Obviously)
Note: I used two magnets on top of air cleaner to hold a long straight edge that reached over to the rear rail flat...
Note 2: putting a rubber hose on my air cleaner stud and dropping hood... I still have .600+ clearance...
