Electric prime pump for hard and hot starts.

-
Did this years ago. I don't remember the name, anymore, it was a solid state pump, "big" and lasted a good long while. At some point the mechanical pump failed, so I just used the electric, alone. it did finally quit me at some point, I don't remember when. Had over 100K on it

Yup, been telling people that for years. A Facet style 'jiggler' pump is good enough to prime a carb (as well as a 4 banger on up with larger models) Its just a 1 way check valve on a sliding piston that operates going back and forth electromagnetically. Should last for years as I had the original still in my Mazda since 1983! IIRC there was a stock setup on something that used an electric secondary pump through a mechanical. Maybe an older stock turbo setup?

I got me a Sno-mobile primer button in anticipation of this problem, but it just never materialized. Guess it doesn't get hot enough up here, lol. Oh wait, lol, I got me a double pumper. The pumps are at the bottom of the bowls, and each bowl holds over 50cc. Parked in the shade, the bowls take months to dry up.
