I purchased the following radiator which is supposed to be specific to the early A body cars with the slant 6:

BLEMISHED CHAMPION 3 ROW ALUMINUM RADIATOR 61 62 63 64 65 FORD ECONOLINE 6CYL | eBay

Core Size: 16 3/4 x 19 x 2 1/4

The seller wants me to confirm that it fits in my car. Current problem, Ice and snow still prevents access to the garage. Will this fit in my car with the stock metal fan or another aftermarket fan for clearance issues?

I bought this one from Champion and it fit great in mu 64 dart /6. I am running 2 slim electric fans, and had to grind a rib to clear the pulley bolts. So it may interfere with the stock fan.
CC63DT Radiator Dimensions:
Total: 22.25" tall x 22.5" wide (with brackets)
Core: 16.75" tall x 19" wide x 2" thick
Inlet: 1.5" passenger side off-center
Outlet: 1.5" passenger
Tanks: 2.5" thick
Tubes: 0.63" thick

Bracket Mounted

13 lb. Radiator Cap included
Transmission Cooler included (1/8" 27npt)

So if I decide to use a mechanical fan, is there any which will fit my application?

I installed the same CC63DT radiator in my wagon. It fits okay. I posted some pictures of my issues in this thread.

If youre paying $219 for a blemish, why not get the right one for about the same money?

I paid $97.00 for mine, I felt the price was good considering I still cannot see a blemish on it.

I just put one of those in my 64 Valiant today. The radiator outlet on the one you bought is not correct for the slant six. The outlet should point up and towards the passenger's side, unless you're using a different bottom hose. Mine was a blemish also. I paid 95 shipped. Like yours, it looked very nice. I am familiar with that seller. They are just up the road from me in Jackson, Georgia. Very good people to deal with.

That link shows a radiator that will not fit a Mopar "A" body with a slant six. It is listed to a Ford. The hose connections are totally wrong.
Woops, sorry. Did realize it redirrected me to a different radiator.

I noticed the same thing after I posted it.

I now the radiator currently in my car is not exactly original. And, I do not think the outlet points up, as well. Hopefully it will match right up. I wish this snow would melt off. My car's front end is parked under built in shelving and I have to back the car out of the garage to work on it. I was stationed at FT Stewart from '87-'90, send some of that warm weather here.

I remember someone posting, either on this site, or slantsix.org, about a different lower hose, that will work with the straight outlet. You will have to search for it.

As Charlie said, I feel sure there is a hose out there that works with the straight outlet. You will like that radiator. Mine works well. The one I got has three BIG rows and "says" it will cool 700 HP.

Yes, mine indicates 700 HP, as well.

No power steering or air conditioning the car is full manual, it even is a radio delete car. it does however have the automatic pushbutton 904.
That's good with power steering in an early abody it's really tight with running a shorter fan spacer, your best bet would be a slim flex fan, make sure it's a two row or the core will be too thick and you have to run an electric fan, also make sure the bottom hose is on the passenger side. I also seen it done with running weird hoses in for the bottom radiator but why if you can get it right the first time.
