Correct, no "C clips. Remove the brake drums, then remove the 4 nuts that hold the bearing retainer to the backing plate/axle housing, and pull the axle out. You might need a slide hammer puller, if the bearing is tight in the housing. Some times turning the brake drum around backwards, and putting it on the axle loosly, will work as a slide hammer.
PS: be carefull you don't damage the brake lines, as the backing plate can come off the studs.
