The radiator outlet on the one you bought is not correct for the slant six. The outlet should point up and towards the passenger's side, unless you're using a different bottom hose.
I remember someone posting, either on this site, or slantsix.org, about a different lower hose, that will work with the straight outlet. You will have to search for it.
