Purchased from another member here, awaiting heads to be finished. If you want more pictures, I’ll post up whatever ya want.

IIRC, these intakes were advertised for a 2-6K rpm.
I could be wrong though.

They have a passage under the plenum that flows engine coolant through. Common mod to these was to block that off with epoxy. It goes against the thoughts of keeping the intake cool for max HP.

Correction, blocking it off goes with the thoughts of...
LOL!

To the concerned...
The water passage needs to be cut. The water passage has one way in and one way out. So, if you just simply epoxy the entrance shut, there is no flow going in or out.

As said above by 340duster, this keeps the plenum cooler for more consistent power. If you know someone the welds aluminum, that would be the best way to go.

Looks like I wiill have use a
Street Dominator ####
Thats ok I will have some work done to it internally.

Ive never seen one of those intakes......rare? Water cooling was for cold weather driveability, not power.

Rare? IDK about that. Harder to find than a standard intake? Sure! Like anything W2. There are just less. This actually my second one. The first one (sold it) came from a member in the original box with the old Direct Connection part number on it. They do pop up on E-bay once in a while.

Just an FYI, this intake, the sister Strip Dominator & the M1 are the same height.

I think this intake and a set of the W2 heads made a real nice combo. Considering the era they were produced, it must have been a great street strip package.
