My buddy with the race bronco broke another jessel rocker arm so he had to rent a car. He rented a 2018 V6 mustang.

When I get to the shop this morning first thing I see is a bunch of fresh burnouts right in front of my roll up door and a half *** doughnut out front. Right away I go next door to my buddy's shop and ask "you know anything about all the new burnouts in front of my shop?"

He's got a big **** eating grin while saying, "no? Did some one do burnouts out there?"...

Well I wasn't born yesterday so I sold him, ok but don't be pissed when I back up to your door and burn the hides off....

He asks you know anything about the new mustang's?

No.
He says I hear you can disable traction control by pulling out a relay. Even with smart track off and traction control off, it wont bounce off the limiter and it keeps shifting even in paddle shift mode...

Ok here we go, all the burnouts are making sense now.....

So we do a little playing with the computer and he says hop in, let's go for a ride.....
:)

That little V6 turbo takes a bit to get the hides melted but once they are going, well both spin just fine and for as long as you want. Then he mentions, "I hear these will pull one G in a corner. They got IRS and good weigh bias."

We took that poor pony over to the industrial area by the old railroad depot and yeah that sucker can corner and is very nimble in a slide.

:rofl::steering:

All in all it was a very fun way to start the day! That poor car now needs new shoes, brakes and will probably never see action like that again....

Ahhh, the joy of rental cars never gets old....

And Mopar ain't got nuthin that can touch that package.

Well I'd run the doors off that **** box but my car ain't realy the way it came off the assembly line....

I will say the seats are nice! My new Subaru seats are garbage compared to those. For a nickle I'd go to pick and pull and grab a set for my daily.

And you know with the way people drive there should be a few of those new mustang's in the wrecking yard soon!

Seems odd a rental place would stock turbo Mustangs.....I mean they gotta know they are going to get thrashed on out there, right? Remember Hertz "Rent a race car"? "..if you were a Hertz Sports Car Club member back in 1966 (and 25 years of age), you could drive off the rental car lot in a performance 306 hp Mustang fastback. Total cost: $17 a day and 17 cents a mile.."

The turbo is TINY. My 4 banger WRX subie has a bigger turbo stock but that mustang is a dam fun car if your willing to put some hurt on it.
