So, it's March 1/3 of the way in, Spring is just a few days and I cannot even get a vehicle onto the hoist. Hell I can barely walk around the back, and it snowed another 2" just a couple days ago. We are more than 20 degrees F below the seasonal "average temperature." It actually got up above freezing the last couple days..........for an hour or two, anyway

Living in the Cleveland area my entire life, I cannot ever remember it raining this much even in spring/ summer. My backyard had 4" of standing water most of the winter which would freeze then thaw freeze then thaw. When i was a kid we had snow from the end of November til April , and I remember freezing my *** off in my dad"s '66 Coronet wagon when we all piled in it for church on Sunday. Good times. This winter for us has been two things -warm and rain or fricking cold. Climate change? Who knows? I just know it's tough to work on the Dart !!!!!!

i rode my boys fourwheeler on our frozen pond today

just saying

Well according to Alexandria Occasional Cortex, the world will end in 12 years, so what do I care if its a little warmer.
Hey thanks for the reminders everyone, I’ve got a coal stove I’ve got to retrieve tomorrow! I haven’t been comfortable during winter since 1997 now.

I took this picture 2 days ago, or March 8th.

And as for man-made climate change, in simplest terms, it's a racket.

All the snow is gone here, it actually got up to 60 degrees today.
Looks like decent weather for the next couple of days, then rain this weekend.

Warming causes ice cap melting. More water in the atmosphere is more rain and cloud cover. This equals more extreme weather in all seasons. Dont need to be a scientist to figure out that global warming is happening. Maybe we are causing it, maybe not but you cant say the weather hasnt been crazy the last 10+years.

Actually, it's not global warming. Not anymore. We have been in a global cooling period for a couple of years now.

Record cold this year, record amounts of snow this year... we still have white stuff on the ground here and I live in a place where it rarely goes below freezing. We had over 900 consecutive snowless days between 2014-16... they called it a Snow Draught and I was a very happy man. This year, not so much...

I did get out in the Dart today (which is more than most of the rest of Canada can say) so there's at least that.

Nice Swinger but not fair! LOL I need to pay my 2 cars a visit. I need a fix!

I have a 2014 Ram , a little miata, a motorcycle and my A100 . I put more miles on the van than any of the others. Haven't had to work on it lately getting bored. But thats a good thing I guess.

Well it turns out to be a good thing I went to all that work Sat, because Sunday I decided to investigate a vibration in the Dakota. "I thought" (seat of the pants) it was the front shaft / U joint. Removed the shaft, moved the joints, they felt fine. Installed another shaft out of one of the junkers. Still shook at about 70. So ?? REAR?? Sure enough late Sunday I got the rear shaft out and the front joint is "right at" that point where one set of journals feels "rough." Caught it "just in time." It was 17F this morning, just now coming up to 25F Time to get to the "parts" store

The Farmall worked hard to remove this, it has fallen from the shed roof. Shovel doesn't touch it. The blade has no down pressure, it is gravity only, so I finally plowed at it a little bit AHEAD to break it up and loose, then dragged it out with the blade backwards. That pile you see left there is HARD and ICY!!

Below: LOL........check out the ice around the front shaft!!

I often think about how fickle mother nature is and how fast it could turn into another ice age.

Nice. Is that B5 or the lighter shade?

Nice! I have seen B3 listed as electric ice blue before. Just looked in your photo garage, very nice color combination.
