ok so I move my springs in 1/2” and now my tailpipes are almost touching leafs, pipe actually above spring.. not interested in cutting up my new tailpipes... any advice.. who would think 1/2” would cause this issue.

Anybody that looked at how the pipes were routed and used a little imagination?

Sorry. I have the 1/2” offset kit and 2.5” tail pipes, it’s ridiculously tight on the passenger side. The spring tends to put the exhaust where it needs to be and I have some scrapes on that tail pipe to show I haven’t always gotten it quite right. I bent the flange on the fuel tank a little on that side to buy some additional clearance. There’s basically only one place the pipe can be for it to clear, has to be perfect.

Smaller tank, or fuel cell. ????????

I have 1/2" relo kit and full TTI exhaust system, not a single problem anywhere. My tailpipes are new as of a few months ago. How old are yours? I wonder if they changed designs. It think it probably also depends on the type of leaf springs you have. If mine were flatter, I can see how it would be a problem. That's over an inch of clearance. The other side is nearly identical to this one. Oh, and these are 2.5" pipes.

is your tip hanger-on side of rail or underneath rail? cuz min is on side maybe that's problem.

Looks like you are using factory style exhaust tips that hang from a biscuit from the inside of the frame? Get a longer bolt and space the pipe away from the frame with washers. I think it took 4 thick washers to fix mine when I installed the MP relocation kit.

Usually the tail pipe is straight side to side coming out of the muffler when looking from the rear. Atleast my cars were. Kim
