Thinking of a better replacement for the "White Whale III", and yeh, "It's white" so this would be "IV" LOL

SEATAC is not far away, fly across the border & drive it home?
 
What I would likely do is tow my flatbed over with the Dakota. Then load the Dakota on the trailer and tow IT home. I would also try and talk the seller into reducing the miles a bit, for one thing I'm not very "keen" on navigating that zoo over there
 
I've never heard not ONE THING about the V10 engine be it good or bad. That's usually a good thing. Of course we all know "it will love" gas. Good luck!

What, front bearings? My 3/4T 2wd has them, I hate the thought of them. They likely have been replaced on the one I have now.

I thought the V10 you were looking at was 4WD and guessing at the mileage it may need unit bearing soon or not for a while.
 
The dodge 4WD of that era have a hub/bearing assembly that is all in one and more expensive than just traditional wheel bearings. I have had good luck with SFK (??) brand bought off of amazon or fleabay. The OEM dodge unit bearings are expensive.

You are talking about FRONT WHEEL bearings/ hubs I guess. I am aware of that problem

I think I'll pass on this. He wants plenty and the distance to go retrieve it adds it's own costs whether I was to drive over there with a trailer, or fly over and meet him. Plus, if I did NOT buy it, then the long empty trip home
