67 dart,, only made one year,,

67 dart, it was only produced for one year, what do you call this type of one yr production..

I call it a 66 Barracuda body panel....sweet car BTW! 67 had lots of one off steering parts too.
 
One hit wonder!!! Oh wait....that's for a vinyl record:lol: Seriously though, most cars were only made for one year because each year they changed something on every model. My '69 Barracuda had a different hood from a 67 or a 68, different grill, etc.
 
Every model year has its own production so not sure what you mean?
 
67-69 Darts generally look the same to the common folk, as do 64-65 Barracudas, and 66 if your looking at the back. I think he's just found the odd 67 parts before the steering changes in 68 took over. Not sure if Dart panels changed although the grill is different configuration (eg. round parking lamps) but may be same shape.

Turn signals changed on all three years..

67 none
68 round
69 rectangle
Grills are different shapes

Theres a word that defines a vehicle that is basically an only child so to speak & I cant remember the term. Like clone, if I was describing a car that was a dart 270 dart & I tried to make it into a GT ... JUST CANT REMEMBER THE TERM.

There are many parts , good, fenders, windshield, that are interchangeable with a 68 or 69 dart , but the 67 is in a class by itself & that is what I'm trying to remember, the term used to describe it

Then that would describe pretty much all of them since they all were only made one year. Like my 64 Valiant. It's different than a 63 and a 65.

Lots are interchangeable on 68 & 69 cause in 68 they changed the firewall, hood, (fenders I think) & windshields glass & steering column. Because the 67 stands alone, with no options for parts from other years, that make it a stand alone car... the term for that is wham trying to remember

I've always known it as "one year only"

The idler arm setup bracket
Headlight buckets spacing
Tail light mounting size
Tail light assy
Rear bumper.........reverse lamps in bumper
No shoulder harness anchor
No dash VIN
No body VINs (Guess that applies to 68 as well)
No marker lights or reflectors
There is some oddity in the doors/ window regulators? I forget
the ignition switch/ switch mounting
Windshield/ rear glass gaskets and trim strips
