Pro ratchet question.

I'll tell ya what else I dislike about the BM shifters. They use a VERY short throw compared to the Cheetah ones, meaning, that a very small percentage of throw error in the shifter and cable makes a BIG difference at the transmission end. this means that the margin of error in the shifter gate and cable for missing a detent/ position at the shifter end is much greater, much more critical.

To put this another way, the cable movement for a given change at the transmission is shorter in the BM than it is in the Cheetah, and is make up by the special lever used at the transmission. This makes adjustments, and problems due to "slop" and wear much more evident with the BM
