This is Buster a fairly long haired Tabby, he is a brother of a cat we named "Moe" that I rescued from the middle of the street after he almost got ran over by a car in front of where I work, I put an ad in the paper and a lady called and described Moe and asked if I wanted his Brother it turned out they were a rescue, sadly Moe passed about 4 years ago Buster is at least 11 or 12 years old now.

And this is our newest pet kitty, Maggie, a Matte Calico, she is from a rescued stray mother that was pregnant had the litter a few days later, the lady that found the mother operates a trap & release where people call her and she traps stray pets. We got her as a kitten, she is not quite a year old yet. The wife is jealous as she has bonded to me more than her.

I like cats, but am F'n allergic as hell to them. Every customers cat I meet loves me, comes right up and starts to do the leg dance (unlike the dog version!) and the people always tell me, "that's so weird, she hates everyone!" I think they know they can make my life hell for the next 15 minutes.....I have benadryl hidden in the truck to stop me from itching and sneezing.

Rob where is the one got thrown out of a car? Scrappy? I forget........

I was savin him for last. Here he is. This is Scruff. As Del said, he was thrown from a moving car as a small kitten. Our across the street neighbor brought him over one night after he had made his way to their house. He had asphalt embedded from his chin all the way to his balls and it was raw and bleeding badly all the way down. Tore his upper lip in half. He still has a gap there. Broke several teeth out.....but they were baby teeth. His toes were scrubbed badly, some almost scrubbed off. He had two broken ribs. We took him to the vet and they got all the asphalt out they could, doctored his wounds and sent him home. We were diligent in giving him his medication. It paid off! That was in 2015 and here he is now. He is such a loving cat, but he still does NOT like to be picked up. I think he still remembers. Scruff is a BIG cat. He's over 20 pounds now. My hands are NOT small.

Me holding Harvey when I was about 48. The one with two is Harvey and "Lil Bug" laying on Mom's carpet. This was the winter I got hurt bad in the car crash Harvey was lost in the house fire about a year later. These are scans of old 35mm slides

Off subject I know you've seen photos of how bad the property looked before it sold, here is a shot out front of a deer out the driveway. This is not long before my everlovin' sister moved Mom out You can see she kept the place up pretty great
