PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!
We measured out the throw on the carburetor end.
The TV arm that we had on the transmission was REALLY long.
The shorter 1998 Dodge Ram arm we scavenged from the junk yard was the perfect length to match the carb arm throw.
We swapped arms and reset the kickdown cable and went out for a test drive.
We adjusted it back and forth about 1/8” at a time and finally found the sweet spot.
The part throttle shift speeds are between 1800-2200 1-2 and 2-3 and the kickdown function is working as it should with the TF2 kit.
Geometry for the win!!!!!!
