Axle stuck in housing with green bearing

Mount an old rim or rim and tire using some blunt persuasion, if no luck

No Go..seized up!! Stuck like chuck..going for a puller...my stress level has to stay low..lol

Rear is under a car so striking angles are limited

I bought an adapter to go onto a slide hammer, it looks like an oversized harmonic balancer puller.
I think it came from amazon, fairly reasonable.

Could be a twist in the splines, it has happened. lol and are tough to get out when they are twisted.

Must be twisted splines cause axle puller with 5lb.snatch handle wont budge it!!

Have you pulled the cover yet?

Gonna try to rig up a 10lb. Dumbell for a snatch I need heavy duty shiiiiiit!!

We were kiddin about the C clips, but it's not a c clip rear end is it?

No its an 8.75 ...seems that they did leave the alum center spacer when changed over to green bearings ...either twisted or seized up from heat

Then keep beatin on it, or come in from the other side with a length of pipe and knock it out that way.

try punching out the axle retaining studs then using 2 prybars/screwdrivers / anything between the brake backing plate and the housing to rock the whole shebang out. Then reinstall the studs after reassembly.

What was the other side removal like? If not a twisted axle spline, what's the history on that green bearing install? Do you know whether or not someone may have used any bearing setting product on it due to fit?
