Barracuda "426"

Nice work. That's going to be a handful on the street. Wondering why you didn't add the under fender bracing and tie the front frame rails together with something like US Cartool makes? That motor is going to be a beast!

Also curious about a few things in the valve train. You wrote hydraulic roller valve springs, but you have solids. I had a problem with too low of spring pressures in the not so distant past, so professionally set-up valve trains are interesting to me.

That's a very tight lash compared to what my solid roller has. It's like half as much. I found that interesting too, as is the 112* lobe centerline. Did they say what the spring's pressures are on the seat and open?
It's in the Hemi hospital for the weekend, I heard a noise that was not a happy sound on the right bank, but I believe he said 150/450 on the spring pressure. I'll doublecheck next week. Thanks for the tip on the bracing from USCartool. I wasn't aware of it. Maybe I'll ad one this winter. I'm am not an engine builder so I rely on Al to do my engines. Very professional dedicated Hemi guy......

Any new updates?

Minor valve lash adjustment - no worries. Sounded worse than it was...……….

This is the first A Body barracuda that I've seen with both park lights being equally the same.(Brightness)
Awesome !

Picked it up at the body shop today. Hopefully have it done in about 14 weeks. Building a 540 Mopar Hemi block for it. Crossram, TTI's, Dana, tubular front end, auto, 4 wheel discs, proper roll bar system, fiber glass front end, mini tubbed, skinny front torque thrusts and 10" torque thrusts on the rear. It won't be a real clone, I don't have the time or the inclination to get that detailed, but I think it will still look good overall.

Kick A$$ !!!!!!

Yeah, mine is totally rewired too with a Painless kit. I don't know a lot about fiberglass, but it looks as if they didn't press out the air bubbles once the initial cloth was laid. It looks really bad...….
