Magnum swapping the 72 Scamp!
I am waiting on some parts so I decided to finish up some odds and ends I have been wanting to work on. First up was the steering coupler.
Some old *** grease in there, more of a tar than a grease really haha
Old seal (that did nothing) vs new seal
Before some wire brush degreasing action
and after:
Some light wear on the inside from the shoes
New paint, new grease and new clip ready to go once I get the K frame / steering box back in:
And finally, I hooked the 5th and hopefully final gauge: trans temp
