2019 summer race.... Jadaharabi vs 318willrun

who's got this race ?

I ran Carters for years, 30 years to be exact. I have zip kits, strip kits, step up spring kits and other bells and whistles for AFB and AVS carbs. I never had a TQ. A friend of mine suggested his Holley would perform better than a Carter for my combination, so I tried it. He was right, with just a jet and power valve change the car was very different. ran cleaner and more responsive, like gaining 20 horse. now, I would just past by the Carter rack, even for a dedicated street car. Holley's are very user friendly.

Yep, I've never had a eddy perform like a Holley. To be fair, I've not tried the Thunder series, though

I can't see how they could, the difference was like night and day.
This is one thing I won't argue about either, I've lived it and seen it.
I also had old school Carter guru's tuning the AFB's and AVS's.
the damn step up springs always oscillated. lol

Actually you're the one who talks about talking to him and all that stuff? I have his phone number and I'm sure he has mine but again I don't get into people's personal lives about this forum. If you recall we were in a open conversation about a race which is the inspiration behind this one of course and all of a sudden nothing? besides that I'm not the only one with a hundred questions I'm sure? But then again no one likes to pry into anybody's personal life unless they want to divulge it themselves. I come on this forum to get away from my personal life sometimes LOL

What, at the end of the day you want your name in the credits (like a movie)? LOL. This thread is completely on Jaba and myself meeting to race . In fact, we made this a thread on your request when you were involved before anyone knew this was happening. LOL

Which combo?
#1 is a stock 86 360 wore out short block with cleaned up stock 596 or 587 heads, stock cam, hooker headers and holley carb, stock or tci street fighter tc. Figured this would be a good start against 318ismissingvalves not highly modiflied duster. Plus it's already to be dropped in and get the dart on the road agin.
#2 is a 89 360 roller motor with 2.02 308 heads, roller hydra cam, .030+ 9.0 com. This is eventually going in my wife's 78 little red express with a stock intake and thermoquad.
#3 is my 360 stocker motor with 8in turbo action tc and cope 904.
Just to debug it for the duster.
#4 is my hillbilly 340 + .060 trw 10.5, 508 cam, 308 11/32 2.02 ported, ag holley sd with a holley
#5 is my 340 stocker
#6 is a 99 magnum 5.9 with an la intake, bigger cam and eq heads.

I may change the order just depends on how tight my drawers are on any given day.
