Love’em or Hate’em, I really don’t care, last nights show once again did not disappoint in the slightest factor. This show rocked & topped all before it.
Blasting fire, fire works, huge booms, confetti, streamers, a lot of big balloons to knock around the arena etc.....

It was an excellent night and my sons first major arena experience on a bands last harrah show in the home town area. It was quite the spectacle!

Saw them live in Waterloo IA in 77. Never thought their music was the best but they really rocked the house in concert

OOOOO, vintage days for sure.
There music is mostly simple rock and roll. It doesn't have to be complex, just catchy and fun. That, they did well.

We caught the Detroit show a couple weeks ago, also with a couple of 15 year old teenage rockers. It was my sons friends first concert, I was a little apprehensive when Gene did his Demon act before Love Gun, but he loved it. Both boys are guitarists and got a newfound love for Kiss and the old bands in general! Kiss rocked the house, and didn’t disappoint in the D either!

I saw them in 78 at Rupp Arena in Lexington Kentucky. It was my first concert and a time I'll never forget.

Saw my first concert back in 77, Kiss with Cheap Trick. Back in the day it was the wickedest thing I'd ever experienced.

@cosgig, Both of my brothers went to Detroit and they said they did a wickedly awesome job there. They both have seen over 30 shows togther. They are huge fans.

@4spdragtop IF the chance ever arrives, do it.

My wife bought tickets to the Tampa show next month.

Just checked prices and they are triple what she paid!

Neither of us are rabid Kiss fans but they have a LOT of material everyone knows, and we recognize and appreciate their place in rock history.

We said the same thing about Tom Petty, and 2 months after we saw him, he died!

Tom Petty was pretty good. Lucky for you that you seen him play. Closest I ever got was when he did the tribute with many others for George Harrison’s tribute gathering that was on his 1 year to the day he died in England.

Every song played was a George tune.

Enjoy the show!

Saw KISS and Rush, And Thin Lizzy. Well, Thin Lizzy didn't make it man.......bus accident man.....BUT they're ok man..... Very close to how announcer said it. LOL Saw Kiss, Rush, are you ready...... March 27, 1975. 44 years ago, almost 44 years ago; 2 days short? THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE, back up to Rush..... LOL Saw them at Kenosha Ice Arena, March 27 1975. A guy I work with saw them around a week ago in Chicago. Do I need to say anything else? LOL First time for him to see them, and he saw them at The United Center, where pro basketball Bulls and the Blackhawks hockey. They kinda moved up from a little town ice arena that held less than a thousand.

My girlfriend and I took her little brother to see them around 76.
We had nose bleed seats since I didn't use my ticket "contact" to get us floor seats for that one.
I dozed off.

I don't know I'm on the fence. I'm glad you all went and had a good time. It's obvious I'm a huge kiss fan been to more of their shows than I can count. I took my son to see Ace a few years back. He enjoyed it. He wants to go to a big show, but he's not really into Kiss. He's more into Metallica and Iron Maiden. So I'll probably take him to one of those. I'm really not a big fan on all these bands charging all these ridiculous prices. It's not that I'm living in the past I just think greed has taken over. Just like Hollywood. My .02....

I paid $12 in 1982 to see Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.

Adjusting (generously) for inflation, tickets ought to be between $36 and $48 bucks to see that caliber of bill at a major arena venue.

WTF

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics consumer price index, prices in 2017 are 154.01% higher than average prices throughout 1982. The dollar experienced an average inflation rate of 2.70% per year during this period.
