#1 . As was said , pvc the correct size . You can get pvc at home center . Get a cap also so you can tap on the end of the pvc , do easy with lube . OR #2 . dut a piece of 3/4" by 3/4" piece of wood , sand smooth and tap evenly on the boot . don't get it crooked .
Yea i thought about that and put it in a vise to press it on i had a socket that would fit it but when i tried that it tore the boot i guess it was the grooves inside it that tore it need something smooth on the inside
