I am thinking of getting the 64 Dart upholstery for my 63 Dart GT because I like the embossed Fratzogs. Plus, I want to go with black which was not an option in '63.
Where is the best place to purchase the seat covers online? Is there anywhere that it's not going to cost me a grand to get them for the front and back?

Try Dante's mopar parts. I just purchased a kit from them, and they were pretty reasonable. If I remember correctly I paid something like $1850.00 for the bucket seats, back seat, front seat backs, carpet, and door panels front and back, and I'm pretty sure I got the headliner also.

They will put any kit together that you want, I think. They were very helpful.

I would not buy anything that I might have to return from Classic Industries. They advertised a 64 A body steering wheel, so I ordered one, and it came to the house and as soon as I unpacked it I knew it was not right. The arms came out of the hub straight out, not offset like the Dart wheel, which meant that I would have to find and buy a new horn ring and cap. So I called them and they told me I could send it back for a refund. I looked online for the return procedures, and they said that I had to pay return shipping. I took that and the rear armrest pads that did not fit either, to the post office, and had to pay $46.00 return shipping! Then after 2 weeks of waiting for a confirmation that they had received the package, I called them back, and was told that I had a credit. The credit was for $50.00 less than what I paid for the stuff, AND I could not use it online, only on phone orders! Needless to say, LIVE AND LEARN!

I bought mine from Legendary Interiors, but purchased via Classic Industries because their freight to Australia made the total cost cheaper. The fabric kit is awesome, even my upholsterer who fitted them was impressed with the quality, I suppose you get what you pay for... The door trims are also great. End result is fantastic...

What is a Fratzog?

Wow! Sorry to hear that, I've had nothing but first class service from Classic Industries, including they have contacted me by phone to check things, and I'm in Australia, not California! I reckon your issue is pretty unfair considering you ORDERED a 1964 wheel and they did not supply what you ordered, why should you take a hit, not your fault in any way... I would be consulting your government "Consumer Affairs" people... Might as well have sent you a steering wheel for a Toyota Land Cruiser, end result is the same, not what you orderd... As an aside, I got my wheel refurbished by a mob called Pearlcraft (in Australia), result was awesome (before and after pictures)...

Fratzog a made up name (by the designer of the logo).

Right, wow, I never heard that before, they say you learn something new every day...
I was talking to a guy today who makes emblems for mag wheel centre caps and asked if he could do them with Dodge logo. He had no idea what a Dodge logo was, and had even less idea after I helped him with a verbal description... LOL His Valiant emblems look great! Hope you don't mind if I screen shot your Fratzog...
Cheers, Nigel

Wow! that is a nice looking wheel that you have there. How much did they charge for that repair? I am actually trying to do my own repair on my old one now, using marine putty and 2 part epoxy.

Now if only I could find someone to reproduce these, I would be in heaven!

I agree Classic Ind. sucks a big one if you have to return something. Legendary is the maker, some vendors have sales of their product off and on.

A bit better picture (below)... They did a good job, very happy with the result. The price, (hope you're sitting down) $AUS 765... Much of the cost was because the hub was badly damaged. All the other wheels I came across still had damage, I needed that repair job. Initially I wasn't that excited about the pearl finish (they ONLY do pearl coatings) I wanted plain red as per original, but I've grown to like it. Funny, everyone who sees it likes it, but I'm neither-here-nor-there about it. Since found there's a guy on the "Valiant AP5 AP6 VC" Facebook page who does more authentic repairs for a couple of hundred bucks...

Hi Claydart...
A bloke just posted an advertisement on FABO for two early steering wheels, might be better than what you have, they had minor cracks, but looked repairable... See the link below...
