AR-10

An extra 1911? WTF no such thing, hah! I come from a little itty bitty town in Ark called Berryville. When I was a young welder with good eyes I did a lot of welding for Bill Wilson when he was still not famous! I worked at an old shop long ago extinct! On a recent trip home to look for a place to retire in, the boys at Nighthawk Custom ( a bunch of X Wilson guys) also located in Berryville invited wife and I to a super cool back room tour. And I mean real tour, stopped and chatted with gunsmiths working on this or that. One of them was working on a 10mm he just threw the slide on and told me to check out the fit. He was very apologetic as he simply picked it up off the bench metal debris and all. Not saying I am the most savvy pistol guy on the planet but feeling the fit on the slide was way better than sex. It was like glass I don't have words for the level of craftsmanship. Nighthawk has one guy build the entire pistol start to finish. It is a thing of beauty. Hence my belief one can never have to many 1911s!
Wow that must have been a really cool experience. I do some amuature gunsmithing myself my first build was a 1911. Unfortunately my gunsmithing is like my car building I dont have alot of extra money so I have to sell something to buy something. I have kept every gun I have built tho. That mauser I posted above in post 22 was my 1st complete bolt action build it started as a blank receiver I have done 3 of them know I'm (was before the car started) on my 4th I will complete it when the car is finished.
