64 Dart -- rear trunk plate

Well the body shop lost the little front spear trim I am looking and then...........months later I realize something doesn't look right and the DODGE trim that runs the length of the trunk is missing. So I go back w/ pix etc. but it's too late.

So I get another off these off ebay -- not as clean as the one lost but good enough... the front cleaned up ok. The rear has these clips that I guess went thru the the trunk lip. They are all rusty. Are there any aftermarket parts that will slide in there and do the job? I have to get this piece back on somehow. Some one mentioned this 2 sided tape stuff but this pieces is a little bent... doesn't lay flat.

rdb, did you ever find a solution to this problem! I have the same piece that need reattached! I know this post is old!

You might want to try and braze on posts to the pieces that you have there. And maybe only use how many you have. Let me check to see if I have any extras in my garage. PM me when you get a chance, and in the meantime, I will scout some out.
