Stock oiling system
Hydraulic roller cam
10W- 40 oil
I would like to use the short WIX 51085 filter
Anybody have an experience with this filter?
Looks OK on the WIX spec sheet, I have just never used it before.

a LOT of door slammer racers use them, a buddy of mine bought a 408 Duster that had one in it and he has never used anything else since

That's the one I have to use with the TTI "shorty" headers. Works fine.

2.125 headers here, and a full size filter screwed right to the block.

I think the 51068 is substantially larger (more filter) and fits great. That is the short filter "from back in the day"
 
51085 came in with the magnum engine,to handle slightly higher oil pressure.
Match to mopar FE292...
 
same as NAPA gold and wix makes for other premium filter vendors
as good as you are going to get unless you go remote
