Wow! that is a nice looking wheel that you have there. How much did they charge for that repair? I am actually trying to do my own repair on my old one now, using marine putty and 2 part epoxy.

A bit better picture (below)... They did a good job, very happy with the result. The price, (hope you're sitting down) $AUS 765... Much of the cost was because the hub was badly damaged. All the other wheels I came across still had damage, I needed that repair job. Initially I wasn't that excited about the pearl finish (they ONLY do pearl coatings) I wanted plain red as per original, but I've grown to like it. Funny, everyone who sees it likes it, but I'm neither-here-nor-there about it. Since found there's a guy on the "Valiant AP5 AP6 VC" Facebook page who does more authentic repairs for a couple of hundred bucks...
