727 / 904 Column Shift Linkage
On the transmission side I trimmed some of the bracket for clearance . The actual shift assembly measured roughly 9" from the mounting plate to the shaft end . Working over headers was a challenge and the shift assembly needed some persuasion getting lined up but once in place it worked fine . The shift arm to the transmission didn't need any adjustment as I was using the 727/340 set up . The shift lever pictured was from my 904/6 and it looked like you could flatten out the arm out and use it on the 727 but with offset I'm not sure if there would be some sort of clearance issue .
