Trying to figure out what radiator hose i need. i have a 1970 dart with a 360 magnum motor that has LA timing cover/water pump. were running an aftermarket summit racing radiator. Not sure what radiator hose i should be looking for, auto zone/advance ext cant tell me nothing unless i know the exact vehicle make/model year i should be looking for...super helpful right?Wed thought about just buying straight rad hose and bending it ourselves, but thats a no go, theres some hard right angles and 45* angles that the hose cant be bent to...they offered some ribbed type hose that bends better but there again, it cant be4 cut to size because it only has so much unribbed portion on each end where it would slide on and clamp down

Go to advance or oreilys and ask them can you step in back to find the hoses you need. That's what I did... they didn't mind. You of course need the diameters of the water necks and make sure the bottom hose has a spring in it.

Going what you have in the pictures you can start off with hoses for a 03 Dodge Ram w/ 5.9L engine. If they don't fit perfectly then you'll have something to gauge with. Looks REALLY close to what I have on my 03 truck with Griffin radiator.

I have taken gas welding rod ( or coat hanger ) and bent it into rough shape of needed hose, and then went to parts stores as above post said, and matched up to hose. May take 2 or 3 trips. Auto zone seems to have biggest selection around here.

That is super close to the factory dart radiator hose locations.
I marked where the difference is compared to the stock upper hose connection.
The upper hose comes somewhat longer than the factory radiator needs, so I think it would fit fine since my radiator is a 26" with the upper hose connection more towards the drivers side than stock like your radiator is.
Order hoses for say a 73 Dart Swinger 318 and I'll bet they fit.

I also show where mine fit with the hoses I'm recommending.
The bottom hose won't be a problem if ordered for the 73 Dart 318.

73-76 darts and dusters had 26 in radiators. Also that same year trucks had only a 22 in rad but the rad was further away, so the hide is/was longer. U cut it to the legnth u need. Kim
