Supercuda's on the way back...after18 years!

Well.. here I am in the dead of winter in this part of Canada so time to address some of the issues I have to deal with . Tach not reading properly, oil gauge reading too low, gas gauge all over the place, definitely not accurate sooo ... sending the whole cluster out to be completely checked over and recalibrated. Before/after pics to follow...

Ok , so I just got my gauge cluster back from Mr Heaterbox and its perfect!! Great job done with all gauges calibrated, tach now working properly, speedo reconditioned and zero'd out and new electronic regulator. Brian at Mr. Heater box does great work and, for all the Canadians on this site, is based in Ontario. Done on time and exactly what was quoted, packaged properly and arrived undamaged.

Now for the only issue I have and that is getting the cluster back into the dash.
Does anyone have any tips on getting the heater control sliders and cables reinstalled? This is a real ***** to do!

I have taken out the two 3/8 inch bolts holding the controls to the cluster housing but with the cables attached I am having a hard time getting the bolts threaded back into the cluster as I can't reach them with any wrench or socket with the limited amount of clearance there.

Ant tips would be greatly appreciated!!
